Who is the the Slow Goer?

The Slow Goer is, a full-time expat and part-time traveler slowly exploring the world and uncovering the best off-the-beaten-path destinations. Hi, I’m Knox, a 26-year-old queer budget backpacker with ADHD, who gave up my Subaru, Blundstones and Chai Lattes for a slow travel life abroad.

After traveling to over 40 countries and relocating to 3 (soon to be 4), I am finally documenting my travels through writing. My goal is to make traveling a little less daunting and inspire you to embark on your own adventures.

Stick around if you’re looking to be an expat, want to find the best-hidden gems or coffee shops, or are curious about what traveling as a (queer) couple is like!
